We are seeking candidates to join our team as a Box Truck Driver, offering full-time employment with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses promptly and courteously.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor vehicle gauges and indicators to ensure proper operation.
• Follow directions from dispatch, adhere to routes and schedules, and use navigation apps as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading without disrupting operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, address questions, and handle complaints professionally.
• Comply with transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports, and reconcile debts and credits related to deliveries.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Assist with store/warehouse duties such as stocking and parts pulling as assigned.
• Maintain workplace safety and secure cash or assets during transfers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Availability to work weekends
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class C Bobtail truck driving experience
• Must meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21+)
• Valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds and sit for prolonged periods

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to manage and reconcile financial transactions
• Proficiency with tablets or mobile devices for navigation and customer interface
• Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, tact, and diplomacy
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
• Flexible schedule with overtime availability preferred
• Knowledge of freight movement principles, relevant laws, and safety regulations
