Job description

Position Overview: As a Box Truck Driver at Ikon Logistics, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck, delivering goods to customers, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure the smooth operation of daily deliveries.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a box truck.
2. Load, unload, and transport goods to customer locations.
3. Ensure timely delivery and proper handling of merchandise.
4. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
5. Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
6. Communicate with dispatch and customers as needed.
7. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
8. Assist with loading and unloading if necessary.
9. Report any issues or mechanical problems with the vehicle to management promptly.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
2. Proven experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles.
3. Ability to lift [insert weight requirement, up to 50 lbs] and handle physical tasks.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
