Job summary

Lansing Building Products LLC is seeking a Box Truck Driver to split time between delivering goods to job sites and performing warehouse tasks in Minneapolis. You will act as a front-line Lansing representative, delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a clean, orderly warehouse.

You may also support cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales as needed. The role emphasizes independent work, teamwork, and a positive attitude, with a start around 7:00 AM and a typical end around 4:30

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and at least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift experience and forklift certification are required or highly preferred.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 80 pounds and work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with building products is very helpful and customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
• Interact with customers and crews at job sites and provide outstanding service.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and live the company mission.
• Be prepared to perform other duties such as cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales as needed.

Box Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Live the mission statement
• Act as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Interact with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provide exceptional service to each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions not particularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

Box Truck Driver Qualifications:

• Box Truck Driver must have a clean driving record
• Have forklift experience
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 80 pounds
• Experience with building products is very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At least one year of driving experience
• Forklift certification

A Box Truck Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location).
