Job summary

Royal Furniture in Memphis, TN is seeking an EXPERIENCED Box Truck Driver to join our delivery team. You will deliver furniture to customers’ homes, assemble items for loading, and follow safe loading/unloading practices while maintaining high standards of service.

Expect a Monday–Saturday schedule from 8am to finish (typically 4–5pm). Compensation is a percentage of the furniture delivered; annual driver earnings commonly range from $45K to $65K depending on routes and performance.

Qualifications

• Delivery/furniture moving experience required.
• Valid Driver's License with proper endorsement (TN or MS as applicable).
• Clean driving record (MVR will be checked).
• Experience driving a 26' box truck.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture to customers' homes and assemble items prior to loading.
• Ensure proper loading sequence, padding, and tie-downs to prevent damage.
• Unload and set up furniture at the customer's home and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Provide world class customer service and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Adhere to delivery schedule and communicate with dispatch throughout the day.
• Work with a helper while on site and support warehouse functions as needed.

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Box Truck Driver. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday starting at 8am to when routes are finished (usually around 4 or 5 pm). Employees are paid a percent of the furniture they deliver, calculated based on what the customer pays. Annual salaries for our drivers typically range from $45K - $65K.

Details:

• Delivers furniture to customer's homes, including assembling furniture prior to loading furniture on the truck.
• Ensures furniture is loaded onto truck in delivery sequence and is padded, strapped, tied-down, balanced and secured so that no damage will occur during trip to customer's home.
• Safely and carefully unloads and sets up furniture in customer's home; wipes down and touches up furniture once delivered to ensure its integrity.
• Provides world class customer service and performs duties with a high level of workmanship and a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Ensures delivery schedule is followed and communicates with dispatch throughout the day.
• Individual will be assisted by a helper driving to sites.
• Supports warehouse functions as needed.

Requirements:

• Delivery/Furniture moving experience
• Valid Driver's License - F Endorsement (if residing in TN) Class D license (if residing in MS)
• Clean driving record (we will run MVR)
• Experience driving a 26\" box truck
• Physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment
• Drug Free (we drug test)
• Has the ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts
