Job summary

Amarr Garage Doors is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to join our Aurora, CO team. The role includes delivering to customers, maintaining DOT compliance, and assisting in warehouse tasks during lighter driving periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet DOT regulations and complete internal Driver Training.

This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.

In this position you will:

• Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).
• Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.
• Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving.
• Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).
• Unload and accurately receive incoming product.

Requirements

• Valid's driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
• Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
• Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
• Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program
• Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s s driver standards
• Must be 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent.

The Details:

This position is Monday - Friday from 5:30AM-4:00PM during peak season. During slower season the hours are 7:30AM-4:00PM. The pay rate is $27.00-$32.00 per hour and is based on, but not limited to,skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications.Additional compensation can include business target bonuses.
