Company Description

TOMRA, an international recycling company, is seeking a Box Truck Driver to safely transport used beverage containers and store supplies.

Hours and Compensation

Hours: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Pay: $24/hr, increasing to $27/hr after probation

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate a box truck to transport cargo to and from designated locations.
2. Prepare and handle documentation for deliveries and pickups to ensure timely service.
3. Load, secure, and unload cargo.
4. Maintain communication with dispatch via radio or phone for instructions and updates.
5. Keep logs of travel and cargo in compliance with federal and state regulations.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a Box Truck Driver.
2. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
3. Familiarity with GPS devices.
4. Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs or more.
5. Availability for occasional weekend shifts.
6. Polite, professional demeanor.
7. Ability to stay calm in stressful driving situations.
8. High school diploma or equivalent.
