Job summary

AIT Worldwide Home Delivery is seeking Delivery Contractors to handle pickup from local home improvement retailers and deliver to job sites or customer homes using a 26' box truck.

Contractors work with a helper in two-person teams; settlements are paid weekly and depend on volume, location, and contract work accepted.

This contractor role requires reliable equipment, insurance, and compliance with DOT/MC requirements, plus strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must own a 26' box truck with lift gate.
• Must have a reliable helper; two-person teams required.
• Insured vehicle capable of transporting large items.
• Must have EIN (federal tax ID).
• Must comply with insurance, vehicle registrations, and AIT DOT/MC requirements.
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
• MVR screens are performed for all driving contractors
• Be committed to providing exceptional customer service and be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Involves picking up orders at local home improvement or home goods retail locations and delivering to job sites or customer homes
