Job summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., seeks a delivery driver to perform box truck routes and tire deliveries across our service area. You will complete logs, inspect vehicles, handle tire loads, and communicate with customers and management to ensure on-time deliveries.

Expect 8–12 hour days with potential overtime. You may lift up to 80 pounds and operate forklifts or pallet jacks when needed; prior trucking experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older (mandatory company policy)
• 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi), and satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
• Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts, as required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
• Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines. (Please visit the DOT/FMCSA website for a complete list of requirements)

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck and complete 10–20 daily deliveries.
• Maintain driver logs and fuel purchase logs as required by policy and law.
• Make timely deliveries to customers in all weather conditions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the day\'s vehicle.
• Lift up to 50 pounds consistently; up to 80 pounds occasionally; team lifts for tires.
• Push up to 40 pounds when handling barrels and tires.
• Assist in loading/unloading; operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
• Work approx. 8–12 hours per day; overtime may be required.
• Operate a handheld device to ensure deliveries are fulfilled and documented.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Collect payments from customers upon delivery.
• Follow any additional job instructions from supervisor; accommodate reasonable requests.
