Meyer Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver (non-CDL) to join our growing team. You will drive company trucks on route deliveries, load and unload, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and accurate paperwork while maintaining efficient delivery schedules. The position offers weekday hours from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a $21.00 per hour wage and quarterly driver safety bonus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience driving 26-28 ft box trucks or other CMVs over 10,001 lbs.
• Valid truck driver license with state-specific endorsement.
• Willing to pass drug screens, background checks, and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• No recent moving violations; insurable at standard rates.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to deliver routes and meet schedules.
• Maneuver trucks for loading and unloading deliveries.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance and safety issues; perform preventative maintenance.
• Report defects, accidents and violations.
• Complete required paperwork for company and DOT compliance.
• Communicate maintenance issues with Fleet Management.
• Heavy lifting of 75+ lbs.

Works closely with internal departments to ensure product is delivered to customers in a timely manner while staying compliant with DOT regulations.

Schedule For Box Truck Delivery Driver (non CDL)

• $21.00 per hour
• Monday – Friday
• 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (End Time Varies on Most Days Due to Workload / Coverage)

Box Truck Driver duties include but are not limited to:

• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries to customers and meet delivery schedules.
• Maneuver trucks into position in order to load and unload delivery trucks.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Report defects, accidents and violations.
• Complete paperwork necessary for company and DOT regulations.
• Communicate with Fleet Management on maintenance issues and preventative maintenance of delivery trucks.
• Heavy lifting 75+lbs.

Requirements For Box Truck Driver (non CDL)

• 1-3 years of previous experience driving 26-28 FT box trucks or any other commercial motor vehicle over 10,001 lbs. (Required)
• Valid truck driver license and relative endorsement for the specific state.
• Willing to submit to drug screens, background checks and maintain a valid DOT medical examiners card.
• No recent moving or driving violations, remain insurable at the standard insurance market rate.
• Operate / Drive a forklift.
