Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company in Mount Pleasant, IA is seeking a Break Pack (Box) Sorter to join our warehouse operations. This hands-on role performs container sorting, material reclamation, and safety-driven production work to support quality and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, physically able to lift up to 70 lbs, and have familiarity with pallet jacks; forklift training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Familiarity with pallet jacks; forklift training provided.

Responsibilities

• Hand-sort Break Pack containers (boxes) based on quality through visual inspection.
• Reclaim customer-owned products and materials with care.
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality.
• Follow safety protocols to support PTZ goals.
• Support team with other duties as assigned by site leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Hand-sort Break Pack containers (boxes) based on quality through visual inspection.
• Reclaim customer-owned products and materials with care and accuracy.
• Meet production goals while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Follow safety protocols to help us achieve our Plan To Zero (PTZ) goals.
• Support your team by performing other duties as assigned by site leadership.

What You Bring

• Familiarity with pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Experience in a production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
