Job Summary

The Box Office Representative serves as the first point of contact for guests attending events and is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with ticket purchases, ticket retrieval, and event-related inquiries. This position plays a critical role in ensuring guests have a positive and stress‑free experience, particularly when helping patrons navigate Ticketmaster accounts, mobile ticketing, and will call ticket distribution.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

Provide outstanding guest service in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.

Assist guests with Ticketmaster accounts, mobile tickets, password resets, ticket transfers, and other digital ticketing needs.

Distribute will call tickets and verify guest identification according to established procedures.

Answer questions regarding events, seating locations, venue amenities, policies, and directions.

Process ticket sales, exchanges, upgrades, and refunds in accordance with venue and company policies.

Troubleshoot ticketing issues and work collaboratively with supervisors and Ticketmaster support when necessary.

Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate transaction records.

Communicate clearly and patiently with guests of all ages and technical skill levels.

Resolve guest concerns professionally while maintaining a positive and guest‑focused attitude.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional box office environment.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guest service standards.

What You Will Need

Previous customer service or cash‑handling experience preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ticketing software.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Ability to use a computer and telephone for prolonged periods.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
