Job summary

Jabil in Wisconsin is seeking an Assembly I to perform back-end and box-build assembly processes, ensuring on-time shipments of a quality product. You will work efficiently according to workmanship standards and follow detailed verbal or written instructions.

The role requires following safety policies, maintaining 5S organization, conducting basic inventory tasks, and operating production equipment with preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to calculate quantity of parts for prep.
• Ability to read/understand visual aids.
• Proficient with Windows-based PCs.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions to assemble products.
• Verify incoming material for accuracy and store using FIFO inventory system.
• Manually assemble an assembly or box-build system using tooling, torque drivers, and hardware.
• Scan required components from flow racks or Kanban locations.
• Maintain certification in DF Pre-Kitting Assembly/Test, Hi-Pot Test, Bundle Kitting, and Pack-Out operations.
• Pull and scan components from flow racks or bin locations.
• Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness; follow safety and health rules.
