Job summary

Jabil is seeking an assembler to perform back-end and box-build assembly ensuring on-time shipments of a quality product. You will work efficiently per workmanship standards and follow detailed instructions with visual aids.

Responsibilities include material verification, FIFO storage, component scanning, order fulfillment, and maintaining 5S in the workspace. The role requires adherence to safety rules and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to calculate quantity of parts to be prepped.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows-based PCs and related software.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.
• Verify incoming material for accuracy and store using FIFO inventory.
• Manually assemble an assembly or box-build system with tooling and torque devices.
• Scan components from flow racks, bins or Kanban locations.
• Maintain certification in Assembly I, Router, Press Fit and RTV operations.
• Pull and scan components from flow racks or bins.
• Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the area.
• Operate safety procedures and follow security policy.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
