Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Assemble I / back-end assembler in Florence, KY to perform back-end and box-build assembly processes ensuring on-time shipments of a quality product. You will work efficiently according to workmanship standards and maintain clean, safe work areas.

Responsibilities include following detailed instructions, verifying materials with FIFO, assembling components with specific tooling, scanning parts from flow racks, and maintaining production equipment with preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
• Ability to calculate quantity of parts and prep them for use.
• Ability to operate a PC and Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.
• Verify incoming material for accuracy and store using FIFO inventory system.
• Manually assemble an assembly or box-build system using tooling, torque drivers, and hardware at a predetermined run rate.
• Scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks, bin or Kanban locations.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assigned area; adhere to safety rules.
