Job summary

Jabil is seeking an assembler to perform back-end and box-build assembly processes ensuring on-time shipments of a quality product. You will follow detailed instructions, verify materials using FIFO, and manually assemble components with torque tools to meet predefined run rates.

Maintain certifications for several assembly operations and uphold 5S and safety standards while using production equipment and completing system checks as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to calculate quantity of parts to be prepped and ready for use at any time.
• Effective communication with managers, clients, customers, and team members.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with Windows-based systems and related software.
• Experience with CNC/assembly tooling and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.
• Verify incoming material for accuracy and store using FIFO inventory.
• Manually assemble an assembly or box-build system using specific tooling and torque drivers.
• Scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks or Kanban locations.
• Maintain certifications in assembler roles and related operations.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assigned area.
• Adhere to safety rules and security procedures.
