The Standard is seeking a Box Bartender to join the Food and Beverage team in New York. You will craft wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages behind the bar, delivering swift, friendly service to guests.

This full-time position requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work flexible hours, and the capacity to adapt to venue concepts that change throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Bartenders handle guest relations at the bar and ensure swift, uniform service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and under pressure.
• Ability to adapt to venue concepts that change multiple times a year.
• Takes initiative and ownership of the bar and program.

Responsibilities

• Produce all wine, beer, cocktails, NA beverages and coffee drinks for outlet.
• Operate efficiently, swift, accommodating and professional.
• Prepare beverages and menu items uniformly according to established standards.
• Stock daily inventory and product.
• Prep fruits, garnishes, and juices; ensure freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and design aesthetics of visible bar areas.
• Complete side work as required by schedule.
• Know menu items and be able to answer guest questions.
• Provide production quality consistent with established standards and DOH compliance.
