Job summary

Bowser Chevrolet of Monroeville is seeking an experienced GM Certified Technician to join our high-performing service team. If you take pride in diagnosing complex vehicle concerns, delivering quality repairs, and providing exceptional customer service, we'd love to meet you.

You will diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain GM vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and use GM diagnostic equipment. A valid driver's license is required, with PA inspection/emissions licenses preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Current GM Certified Technician credentials required.
• Dealership technician experience preferred.
• PA State Inspection and Emissions Licenses preferred or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain Chevrolet and GM vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, warranty repairs, and advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics.
• Utilize GM diagnostic equipment and service information to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently while meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Perform multi-point inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status.
• Maintain current GM certifications and complete all required factory training.
• Follow all dealership safety policies, manufacturer procedures, and state regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with other service department duties as needed.
