Job summary

Lake Local Schools District LAKE MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL in Uniontown, Ohio is seeking a Head Coach for Boys & Girls Bowling to lead and develop the program from youth to varsity levels. You will report to the Athletic Director, assemble and supervise coaching staff, ensure compliance with OHIAA and Federal League, plan practices and travel, and foster good relations with the community and school.

This supplemental position requires a valid Pupil Activity Permit and dedication to athletic

Qualifications

• Must possess valid Pupil Activity Permit (including all needed certifications).
• Assume all additional duties assigned by administration.

Responsibilities

• Develops a well-organized interscholastic bowling program at all levels.
• Selects and organizes staff to maximize efficiency.
• Promotes goodwill and cooperation among coaches and athletes.
• Ensures compliance with OHIAA and Federal League rules.
• Plans practices and games with at least one coach present; supervises locker room.
• Oversees team travel and waits for athletes to be picked up after events.
• Maintains public relations with community, parents, administration, media, and squad.
• Administers team regulations and enforces conduct.
• Coordinates with athletic trainer and team doctor; facilitates injury treatment.
