Job summary

Air Combat Command at Tyndall AFB is seeking staff for the Lightening Lanes Bowling Center to handle customer service, cashier duties, lane assignments, and facility upkeep. Hours vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet activity needs.

The role involves assisting with leagues and events, managing cash and POS transactions, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patrons and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers, answers questions regarding facility programs, services, fees, and bowling procedures, and provides general information to ensure positive customer experience.
• Assists with bowling leagues, tournaments, special events, and other morale, welfare, and recreation activities as assigned.
• Maximizes lane and equipment utilization through efficient customer flow and scheduling; assigns lanes; assists patrons with shoe rentals and equipment; handles food orders.
• Monitors lanes and equipment; resolves routine issues such as ball return interruptions or minor lane problems; notifies maintenance when needed.
• Operates cash register or POS to process sales, rentals, fees and other transactions; prepares daily cashier reports and bank deposits; operates PA system for announcements.
• Maintains cleanliness of bowling areas, counters, rental shoes, seating areas, and other spaces; assists with stocking supplies; ensures safety and housekeeping procedures are followed.
