Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Vernon Hills, IL seeks an Assistant Mechanic to help maintain lanes, pinspotters, and building equipment. This part-time role offers evening and night shifts in a vibrant entertainment setting.

You will complete the internal training program, work with the leadership team, and develop skills in preventative maintenance and equipment repair while enjoying benefits and the company culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with a strong emphasis on algebra, geometry, and applied mathematics (Optional)
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven team player.
• Eager to continue training to advance into a Mechanic role.
• Candidates with previous mechanical, electrical, or engineering experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Always prioritize safety by following guidelines and OSHA.
• Maintain equipment to optimal working condition.
• Adhere to preventative maintenance programs and daily center upkeep as instructed.
• Complete the Lucky Strike Entertainment Assistant Mechanic training program within the prescribed time frame.
• Provide valuable assistance to leadership teams and promptly report issues and problems as needed.
• Proficient in identifying and resolving common equipment issues.
• Minor preventative maintenance.
• Fully understand how to operate all bowling equipment in the center.
