Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Bowl Attendant to warmly welcome guests, share information on activities, and help ensure a FUN and safe bowling experience. You will manage shoe handling, lane setup, and assist guests with equipment while promoting products and keeping areas tidy.

Ideal candidates show strong teamwork, great communication, and the ability to multitask across systems, with availability for days, nights, and weekends. Join a lively team at our bowling center.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and friendly, energetic attitude.
• Teamwork is essential for smooth operations.
• Strong problem solving and ability to multitask.
• Able to learn and use multiple operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Greet guests and act as a FUN ambassador.
• Promote activities based on guest needs and availability.
• Troubleshoot lane malfunctions and assist as needed.
• Issue and clean bowling shoes and keep footwear area organized.
• Escort guests to lanes and assist with lane setup and ball selection.
• Ensure guests follow all bowling safety rules.
• Process payments and welcome guests returning.
• Maintain a clean Bowl Desk and lanes, and complete side duties.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Bowl Attendants set the stage for our Guests by providing a warm welcome and serving as their information source for all activities and specials! As a Bowl Attendant, you are helpful, knowledgeable, and have high energy, so you can guide our Guests through the activities we offer to ensure their experience is FUN and memorable. You’re an expert in ensuring the bowling experience is exceptional and using the various systems to perform your job successfully! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guestswhile being a FUN ambassador!
• Promoting and recommending activities based on a Guest’s needs and activity availability
• Troubleshooting and handling lane malfunction calls
• Issuing and cleaning bowling shoes; maintaining shoe organization
• Escorting Guests to their lane and assisting them with their lane setup and ball selection
• Ensuring Guests adhere to all bowling safety standards (gotta play safe!)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Maintaining a clean and organized Bowl Desk and lanes; completing side duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus but not required

• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
