Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Bowl Attendant to warmly welcome guests, guide them through activities, and help ensure a fun, memorable bowling experience with high energy and safety in mind.

You will learn and use multiple systems, assist guests with lane setup and ball selection, maintain shoe racks, and help keep the desk and lanes clean while delivering top-notch service.

Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage or retail is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and friendly, energetic service.
• Ability to learn multiple systems and communicate with guests and management.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
• Welcome and engage guests as a FUN ambassador
• Promote activities based on guest needs and availability
• Troubleshoot lane malfunctions
• Issue and clean bowling shoes; maintain shoe organization
• Escort guests to lanes and assist with lane setup and ball selection
• Ensure guests adhere to all bowling safety standards
• Process payments and greet guests returning
• Keep Bowl Desk and lanes clean and organized; complete side duties

At Main Event, our Bowl Attendants set the stage for our Guests by providing a warm welcome and serving as their information source for all activities and specials! As a Bowl Attendant, you are helpful, knowledgeable, and have high energy, so you can guide our Guests through the activities we offer to ensure their experience is FUN and memorable. You’re an expert in ensuring the bowling experience is exceptional and using the various systems to perform your job successfully! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guestswhile being a FUN ambassador!
• Promoting and recommending activities based on a Guest’s needs and activity availability
• Troubleshooting and handling lane malfunction calls
• Issuing and cleaning bowling shoes; maintaining shoe organization
• Escorting Guests to their lane and assisting them with their lane setup and ball selection
• Ensuring Guests adhere to all bowling safety standards (gotta play safe!)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Maintaining a clean and organized Bowl Desk and lanes; completing side duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights, and/or weekends
