Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Knoxville is seeking a Bowl Attendant to warmly welcome Guests, answer questions, and guide them through activities and lane setup. You will ensure safety, cleanliness, and high-energy service while using bowling systems to help guests have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities include promoting activities, handling lane issues, processing payments, and maintaining a tidy Bowl Desk and lanes.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset is essential for guest satisfaction.
• Teamwork is a must in a fast-paced entertainment venue.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are valued.
• Ability to learn and use multiple systems that support the business.
• Effective communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests.

• Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Promoting and recommending activities based on guest needs and availability.
• Troubleshooting lane malfunction calls.
• Issuing and cleaning bowling shoes; maintaining shoe organization.
• Escorting guests to their lane and assisting with lane setup and ball selection.
• Ensuring guests adhere to safety standards.
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming guests back.
• Maintaining a clean Bowl Desk and lanes; completing side duties.

At Main Event, our Bowl Attendants set the stage for our Guests by providing a warm welcome and serving as their information source for all activities and specials! As a Bowl Attendant, you are helpful, knowledgeable, and have high energy, so you can guide our Guests through the activities we offer to ensure their experience is FUN and memorable. You’re an expert in ensuring the bowling experience is exceptional and using the various systems to perform your job successfully! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

What will you be doing daily?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)


• Welcome and engage with all guests while being a FUN ambassador!


• Promoting and recommending activities based on a Guest’s needs and activity availability


• Troubleshooting and handling lane malfunction calls


• Issuing and cleaning bowling shoes; maintaining shoe organization


• Escorting Guests to their lane and assisting them with their lane setup and ball selection


• Ensuring Guests adhere to all bowling safety standards (gotta play safe!)


• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back


• Maintaining a clean and organized Bowl Desk and lanes; completing side duties

Position requirements
