Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Bowl Attendant to create a FUN, safe, and memorable bowling experience for guests. You will welcome guests, guide them to lanes, help with shoe rental and ball selection, and promote activities based on guest needs.

You’ll work with multiple systems, maintain cleanliness and safety, troubleshoot lane issues, and process payments while helping guests return for more fun. Join an energetic team at a new or existing center.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus, but not required.
• Guest focused mindset
• Teamwork is a must
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends

Responsibilities

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards
• Welcoming and engaging with Guests as an ambassador of FUN
• Promoting and recommending activities based on a Guest’s needs and activity availability
• Troubleshooting and handling lane malfunction calls
• Issuing and cleaning bowling shoes; maintaining shoe organization
• Escorting Guests to their lane and assisting with lane setup and ball selection
• Ensuring Guests adhere to all bowling safety standards
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Maintaining a clean and organized Bowl Desk and/or lanes; completing side duties

At Main Event, our Bowl Attendant’s set the stage for our Guests by providing a warm welcome and serving as their information source for all activities and specials! As a Bowl Attendant, you’re high energy, helpful, and knowledgeable so you can guide our Guest’s through the activities we offer to ensure their experience is FUN and memorable. You’re an expert in ensuring the bowling experience is exceptional and in using the various systems to successfully perform your job! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcoming and engaging with all Guests, all while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Promoting and recommending activities based on a Guest’s needs and activity availability

Salary Compensation is from $12 - $14.5 per hour Salary Range: 15 - 16.5
