Job summary

Scheels in Sandy, UT is seeking a Part-time Bow Technician for evenings and weekends to support our Service Shop. You will set up, tune, repair and string bows, and communicate repair steps to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3 months of related bow-tech experience.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and work on an archery bench.

Responsibilities

• Carefully follow instructions per customer requests while maintaining safety requirements.
• Service bows including: setting up bows with accessories, tuning, repair, and stringing.
• Communicate the repair process and suggested maintenance to customers.
• Keep the personal workspace, archery bench, back stock space, and surrounding areas orderly and clean.
• Attend sales and product knowledge training meetings as required.
• Be knowledgeable to answer questions about location, price, and use of merchandise.
• Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
• Contact vendors to order and follow up on repair parts.
• Assist with customer trade-ins.

Education
