Job summary

Scheels Grand Forks is seeking an archery service associate to help customers with bow setup, tuning, repair and stringing, while delivering a personalized WOW experience.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (or 3 months related experience) and can lift up to 100 pounds; training and safety are emphasized, with employee ownership benefits and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3 months related experience.
• Heavy work: able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Follow customer requests while adhering to safety requirements.
• Set up bows with accessories, tune bows, repair bows, and string bows.
• Explain repair processes and provide maintenance suggestions.
• Maintain an orderly workspace and back stock area.
• Attend product knowledge training sessions when required.
• Answer questions about location, price, and use of merchandise.
• Stock shelves and assist with vendor communications for parts.
• Assist with customer trade-ins.
