Job summary

HORAN Wealth is seeking a Senior Retirement Plan Advisor to lead employer-sponsored retirement plans, delivering fiduciary consulting, investment reviews, and plan design guidance. The role partners with business owners, HR leaders, and plan committees to optimise participant outcomes and governance.

You will work as a key advisor, building executive relationships and providing strategic recommendations across 401(k), safe harbor, and other qualified plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance or related field.
• 7+ years of retirement plan consulting or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA and fiduciary best practices.
• Experience presenting to retirement plan committees.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• FINRA Series 65, 66, and/or 7 licenses or able to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Advise plan sponsors and lead fiduciary discussions with committees.
• Develop strategic plan designs for retirement programs.
• Educate participants and employers on plan features and investments.
• Collaborate with CPAs, attorneys, and recordkeepers to optimize plans.
• Identify opportunities for client growth and retention.
