Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Drive and exceed the sales budget for the location.
  • Develop and implement an action-oriented business plan for the store.
  • Monitor and drive store and team KPIs to maximise growth opportunities.
  • Be a brand ambassador, setting the standard for exceptional customer experience for your team.
  • Train and offer all services consistently (Welding, Engraving, Monogramming).
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Network to build relationships with corporate and local clients for HQ revenue events.
  • Set clear individual sales objectives and KPIs for the team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to deliver these objectives.
  • Coach and develop team members through feedback and performance reviews.
  • Manage the team according to company policy and escalate issues as they arise.
  • Support recruitment, interview candidates and compile feedback from trial shifts.
  • Implement brand and product training programs across the team for consistent styling advice.
  • Execute visual merchandising guidelines to a high standard.
  • Ensure in-store experience meets brand standards.
  • Maintain an accurate stock file and complete regular stock counts.
  • Ensure accurate payment processing and cash handling through training.
  • Ensure processing of in-store services (including engraving and after-care) through training.
  • Process payments, refunds and exchanges accurately following company guidelines.
  • Open, close and reconcile tills daily, investigate discrepancies and report issues to Boutique Manager.
  • Manage petty cash in the absence of Boutique Manager.
  • Adhere to Monica Vinader Stock Management policy.
  • Report discrepancy/stock loss incidents to Boutique Manager.

Job Title: Boutique Manager (New Store Opening)
Location: Elmont, New York
Hours: Full‑Time, 40 hours weekly
Reporting To: Area Sales Manager
Pay Rate: $65,000–$75,000 annual salary

  • Driving Sales

    • Collect and update customer information for efficient client book usage and accurate data capture
    • Develop and maintain client relationships in line with Monica Vinader guidelines
    • Assist Marketing with arranging boutique events
  • Delivering Efficiency
    • Execute visual merchandising guidelines to a high standard
    • Ensure in‑store experience meets brand standards
    • Maintain an accurate stock file and complete regular stock counts accurately and on time
    • Ensure accurate payment processing and cash handling through regular team training
    • Ensure appropriate processing of in‑store services (including engraving and after‑care) through training
  • Cash Handling and Payment Processing
    • Ensure sufficient staff training prior to payment processing
    • Process payments, refunds and exchanges accurately following company guidelines
    • Open, close and reconcile tills daily, investigate discrepancies and report issues to Boutique Manager
    • Manage petty cash in the absence of Boutique Manager
  • Stock Management
    • Adhere to Monica Vinader Stock Management policy
    • Report discrepancy/stock loss incidents to Boutique Manager
