Job summary

Hotel Indigo Naperville Riverwalk is seeking a friendly bartender to welcome guests and create memorable experiences. You will prepare drinks precisely as requested, assist with food service, and act as a local brand ambassador.

The role requires stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and experience in preparing a wide range of beverages while upholding safety and alcohol-service regulations.

Qualifications

• Fitness and stamina to be on your feet most of the day.
• Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Good reading, writing and basic math skills.
• Willingness to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Experience preparing a wide range of drinks and drinks service.
• Knowledge of local laws on alcohol service and minimum age requirements.
• Strong communication and hospitality to interact warmly with guests.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm welcome for every guest and set the tone of their experience.
• Prepare and serve drinks to high standards and promote menu specials.
• Collaborate with restaurant colleagues to ensure seamless food service.
• Set up the bar, stock supplies, manage inventory and maintain equipment.
• Change beer barrels and keep the bar area clean and secure.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Present a tidy, professional appearance in uniform.
• Be ready to assist with ad-hoc duties as needed by teammates.
• Always follow safety procedures and hotel policies.
