Role Overview
The Boutique Assistant supports the execution of the client experience strategy in boutiques, delivering extraordinary hospitality and ensuring seamless, memorable service that fosters long‑term loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Build extraordinary client experiences through hospitality excellence.
- Promote a warm and welcoming boutique environment that aligns with Cartier values.
- Assist the boutique team front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house with appointment preparation, client entertainment, product presentation, and sales finalization (e.g., running product, gathering sales accessories, gift wrapping, food & beverage service).
- Support appointment setup, staff staging, boutique traffic flow, and daily management of the appointment booking tool (RDV) and queue.
- Maintain visual standards of wrap rooms and client service areas, replenish daily needs, and support order processes and storage organization.
- Provide personal services such as directions, restaurant reservations, entertainment requests, floral orders, and production of maps and literature.
- Handle phone duties: incoming calls, message retrieval, and appointment setting.
- Manage quick service and personalization requests (e.g., strap changes, watch sizing, steam cleaning, cord changes, engraving, embossing).
- Participate in boutique opening, closing, and daily set‑up/break‑down activities.
- Collaborate with the Operations Coordinator on stock maintenance of non‑sell‑allables.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Technical Skills
- Excellent computer skills and use of technology.
- MS Office experience required.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to approximately 45 lbs.
- High energy, physical stamina, and ability to work in fast‑paced environments.
- Mobility: extensive standing and walking during shifts.
- Strength: lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items up to 45 lbs.
- Flexibility: regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
