Job summary

Clean Team is seeking a dependable Day Porter to support our Cleveland/Akron-area operations. The role focuses on keeping facilities presentable during operating hours, with active, visible duties that require attention to detail and professional communication.

You will help maintain a welcoming environment for users throughout the day, taking ownership of assignments and collaborating respectfully with customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, building services, or customer-facing roles is helpful but not required.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the stated shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform active work during the shift.
• Ability to work respectfully with teammates and site personnel.
• Reliable transportation to the assigned work location.

Responsibilities

• Check common areas and restrooms regularly throughout the shift.
• Spot-clean spills, entrances, glass, and frequently touched surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers as needed.
• Restock restroom supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Respond to routine cleaning needs while following site priorities.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to instructions.
• Communicate courteously with on-site staff while respecting privacy.
