Job summary

Inteplast-Group is seeking a Packaging Assistant Line Lead to oversee a packaging line, ensuring productive, compliant operation per SOPs and cGMP guidelines. You will coordinate the team, monitor performance and assist with training to maintain quality output.

Ideal candidates have at least six months of packaging or manufacturing experience in pharma/nutraceutical environments, a high school diploma, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting while accommodating non-standard work

Responsibilities

• Set up packaging line and ensure productive, efficient operation per SOPs and cGMPs.

• Follow PPE guidelines.
• Perform filling, weighing, securing, labeling and packaging per specs.
• Collaborate with QC to ensure QC standards are met.
• Assist in training line operators.
• Identify deficiencies and provide ideas to improve process.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Meet production output goals.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and preventive tasks as needed.
• Follow safety best practices and LOTO when applicable.
• Report non-compliance immediately.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

TITLE:Packaging Assistant Line Lead

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Package bulk products into containers that will be delivered to the customers following SOP's and cGMP guidelines.Oversee, lead, monitor and coordinate the activities of the additional packaging line. The Assistant Line is responsible for meeting all goals and for the quality of the product their team produces.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of six months of Packaging or Manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical environment required.
• Experience leading a production line.
• High School Diploma.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures that the packaging line is set-up and runs productively and efficiently following all the SOP's and cGMP's guidelines.
• Ensures that all documentation is correctly filled prior, during and at the end of the packaging process.
• Follows all the PPE guidelines.
• Performs the filling, weighing, securing, labeling, and packaging of the containers as per company and/or customer specifications following all the SOP's and cGMP's guidelines.
• Works along with QC department to ensure that the products are being packaged following QC standards.
• Helps in training operators in the different station at the packaging line.
• Identifies any deficiencies, constrains and/or problems that could impede the efficient packaging process flow and assist and/or provide ideas and feedback to solve them.
• Maintains working area orderly and clean.
• Works efficiently to achieve all the production output goals.
• Perform operational tasks and equipment maintenance as needed, requested, directed or instructed by the supervisor/manager.
• Able to assist with equipment preventive maintenance and operational tasks, as needed.
• Utilize Safety in the Workplace Best Practices.
• Follow MSDS instructions and compliance with the Lockout/Tagout program, if and when applicable; adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times. Report any out-of-compliance items to the supervisor immediately.
• Identifies any deficiencies, constrains and/or problems that could impede the efficient process flow and assist and/or provide ideas and feedback to solve them.
• May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE:

• Computer literate with knowledge of Inventory control system and Microsoft Outlook.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform work standing for prolonged periods of time.
