Sazerac Company is seeking a Bottling Manager for Barton 1792 Distillery to oversee multiple high-speed bottling lines, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and lead a skilled team across shifts. The role requires strong leadership, continuous improvement mindset, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet production targets worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing/ops leadership experience.
• Experience supervising and coaching teams.
• Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead bottling operations to safely deliver production targets while meeting quality, regulatory, and budget expectations.
• Develop, coach, and support Bottling Supervisors, Assistant Bottling Managers, and production teams to drive performance and engagement.
• Monitor operational metrics and production data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase throughput.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Engineering, and New Product Development teams to support operational excellence and business objectives.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, capital projects, and process enhancements to strengthen bottling performance.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Join Barton 1792 Distillery as a Bottling Manager and lead one of the largest and most dynamic production operations within our facility. In this role, you will oversee bottling operations across multiple high-speed production lines, driving safety, quality, efficiency, and employee development. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by leading teams, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and helping deliver world-class products to customers around the globe. This facility operates 24/7, and the successful candidate must be flexible to support all shifts as business needs require.

What You’ll Do

• Lead bottling operations to safely deliver production targets while meeting quality, regulatory, and budget expectations.
• Develop, coach, and support Bottling Supervisors, Assistant Bottling Managers, and production teams to drive performance and engagement.
• Monitor operational metrics and production data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase throughput.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Engineering, and New Product Development teams to support operational excellence and business objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience.
• Previous supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and coach teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

Preferred

• Experience in beverage, food, spirits, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence principles.
• Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment and collaborating with labor relations teams.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and move throughout production areas regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and access production equipment as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and/or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
