Job summary

FabCorp is seeking a Bottling and Packaging Technician – Automation Specialist to operate, set up and maintain automated bottling lines, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging of products. The role also includes shipping, inventory control and collaboration with production teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automated systems, strong attention to safety and quality, and be able to lift up to 60 lbs in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

Job Title: Bottling and Packaging Technician – Automation Specialist

Reports to: Plant Supervisor

Job Type: Hourly, Non-exempt

SUMMARY

The Bottling and Packaging Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining and setting up automated bottling and packaging equipment to fill, seal, label, and prepare fuel additives in various container sizes. This role also includes shipping and inventory responsibilities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with automated systems and strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Operate, set up and maintain automated and non‑automated bottling and packaging equipment.
  • Bottle all product lines in various package sizes.
  • Build boxes, label containers, and package finished products.
  • Palletize and prepare orders for shipping.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure packaging accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock rotation.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control teams.
  • Participate in production meetings and yearly inventory.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Assist with minor equipment, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Crosstrain as needed
  • Follow company safety & security guidelines
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
  • Other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS

To successfully perform this job and individual must be able to do the responsibilities and essential duties adequately. Knowledge, skills and abilities for each task are expected to be both known and acquired through training.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED recommended.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with automated bottling and packaging equipment.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping software.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to standing (approximately 90%), sit and walk (approximately 10%). The employee will be expected to lift and move materials up to 60 pounds.
