Job summary

Silgan Containers is seeking a hands-on worker to support our bottle manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes product safety and quality, accurate readings, and operating the blow molder and downstream equipment.

You will help with changeovers and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Required education is a high school diploma or GED, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions such as bending and twisting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
• Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all duties listed below.
• Take readings (all bottle measurements) and run the blow molder and downstream components.
• Assist with changeovers and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow safety rules and procedures and report unsafe acts/conditions.
