Job summary

Threshold-Enterprise is seeking a science-driven researcher to analyze literature on dietary ingredients, support product development, and ensure FDA compliance. You will prepare summaries and substantiate structure-function claims while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will work with botanicals and natural products, communicate findings clearly, and help develop educational literature and supplier interactions to advance product quality and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• MS in nutrition, food science, biology or related field, or BS with 3+ years experience.
• Strong understanding of human physiology and essential nutritional ingredients.
• Experience with botanicals or natural products.
• Experience conducting literature searches and summarizing scientific research articles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Basic understanding of analytical chemistry methods and data review.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support product formulation research across development teams.
• Perform literature searches and summarize findings.
• Develop substantiation documents for structure-function claims.
• Collaborate with suppliers and QA/QC for material specs.
• Prepare marketing collateral and educational literature.
