The New York Botanical Garden is seeking a hardworking Botanical Garden Attendant Guard to enforce garden rules and safeguard displays, facilities, and grounds. This full-time role requires vigilance and commitment to public safety.

Key responsibilities include patrolling areas, maintaining order, and assisting in the detection and removal of disruptive individuals, while ensuring compliance with F-03 safety requirements within 90 days of employment. Salary is listed below with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess and maintain a valid New York State Driver’s License.
• Candidates must possess and maintain a valid New York State Security Guard License from the Division of Licensing Services.
• Must have a minimum of two years full time experience in security or related work.
• In possession of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Candidates must possess and maintain a valid Indoor Place of Assembly F-03 Certificate of Fitness or be able to successfully receive the required Certificate of Fitness within the first 90 days of employment.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time role.

• Wednesday to Sunday, 10 AM - 6PM.
  Regular Days Off: Monday and Tuesday
• Friday to Tuesday, 10 AM - 6PM.
  Regular Days Off: Wednesday and Thursday
