Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Stepdown travel assignment in Boston, MA. The 13-week contract runs with 36 guaranteed hours per week on 12-hour DN rotation shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Start date is 11/02/2026, with IMCU and medsurg high-acuity cases and vent/trach care as needed. Telemetry monitoring, high-level nursing assessment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in the applicable state or eligibility.
• 1+ year IMCU/stepdown experience preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and high-acuity medsurg cases.
• Proficient in documentation and patient/family education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to IMCU/stepdown patients.
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to changes; administer meds.
• Collaborate with the team to revise patient care plans and ensure safety.
• Manage vent and trach care, neuro checks, and post-op needs.
• Maintain infection control and accurate documentation.
