Job Description:
The Boston Pre-K Enrollment Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting preschool enrollment operations, ensuring that families applying for a Boston Pre-K seat in a community-based setting receive timely and accurate information about their child’s application status and next steps.
This position requires close collaboration with the Early Childhood Boston Pre‑K team to support a smooth enrollment experience during a critical transition year, as responsibilities shift from the Department of Early Childhood to Welcome Services. As such, the role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with families, community‑based organizations, and internal BPS collaborators.
The Enrollment Coordinator will report directly to the Boston Pre‑K Enrollment Manager and will be responsible for managing enrollment‑related tasks, tracking student application progress, supporting families through the application process, and maintaining accurate records.
This is a full‑time, school‑year position for a one‑year term. The ideal candidate will have experience managing systems, supporting families from diverse backgrounds, and evaluating, managing, and collaborating within the Boston Public Schools special education process.
