Alexion is seeking a US Medical Affairs Digital Innovation & Medical Communications PharmD Intern to support the US Medical Affairs organization at its Boston-Seaport, Massachusetts location. The intern will work on focused digital innovation projects, develop AI enablement resources, and assist Medical Communications by organizing scientific content and contributing to congress-related deliverables.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a PharmD degree with an anticipated graduation date after August 2027.
US Work Authorization is required at time of application and cannot require sponsorship; OPT is not supported.
On-site attendance at Boston-Seaport, MA 5 days a week.
Experience using accessible AI tools to research topics, summarize information, develop prompts, or improve workflows.

Responsibilities

Support a focused digital innovation project by documenting a current US Medical Affairs workflow and gathering stakeholder input.
Create AI enablement resources such as prompt guides and job aids for day-to-day use.
Support Medical Communications by organizing scientific content and improving findability of resources.
Analyze adoption or engagement data and translate results into a concise scorecard or dashboard.
Assess emerging digital and AI capabilities and present actionable recommendations, including benefits, limitations, and next steps.
