Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Internal Medicine physician in Boston, MA. The position offers pay of $115/hour to $130/hour with a 26-week assignment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating adult patients, collaborating with care teams, performing exams, ordering tests, and ensuring thorough documentation and patient education. Flexible shift schedule, no call, and standard 5x8-hour shifts are available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in internal medicine (ABIM or AOA).
• Active Massachusetts medical license.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of adult medical conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to follow patient care plans.
• Conduct physical exams and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Administer appropriate treatments and medications.
• Maintain accurate medical records and facilitate referrals when needed.
