Job summary

SilverRide is seeking independent contractors in the Lawrence/Methuen area to provide assisted rides for older adults and people with mobility challenges. Bid on rides that fit your schedule and earn approximately $33 per hour plus a $200 bonus on your first payment.

Position emphasizes meaningful work with predictable earnings. Must be 21+, possess a MA license (or equivalent experience), drive a newer sedan, and maintain a clean driving record with fluent English.

• Age 21+ with 3+ years driving experience.
• MA license (or 3+ years out-of-state experience).
• 2015 or newer 4-door sedan ONLY - you provide your own vehicle.
• Clean driving record (max 2 violations in 3 years).
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Bid on and accept rides that fit your schedule.
• Provide safe, reliable transportation for older adults, people with disabilities, and mobility-challenged passengers.
• Deliver door-through-door service where required.

How It Works:

As an independent contractor, you'll have the flexibility to bid on and accept rides that fit your schedule.

Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm

• Age 21+ with 3+ years driving experience
• MA license (or 3+ years out-of-state experience)

• Fluent English and compassionate attitude

Credentials

Each contract has different credentialing requirements. As an independent contractor, you maintain your own credentials. Requirements may include:

• Drug testing
• DOT Physical (medical certificate)
• Defensive Driving course completion
