Job summary

Centessa is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Operations to lead CNS trial execution across global Phase 1–3 programs, from start-up to close-out, in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Regulatory, Data Management, Biostatistics, and CROs; develop trial plans and budgets; ensure GCP/ICH compliance and support regulatory submissions. The role requires a science degree and 8+ years in pharma/biotech/CRO with CNS experience; Boston-based full-time role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in sciences required.
• 8+ years in pharma/biotech/CRO with multi-phase global trials experience.
• CNS and sleep disorders preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, trial management systems, and vendor oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Phase 1–3 CNS studies across programs.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Data Management, Biostatistics, and CROs.
• Develop operational plans and budgets for trials.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (GCP, ICH) and support submissions.
• Manage external vendors and monitor progress, quality, and timelines.
