Job summary

Manhattan Associates is seeking a software-oriented coop to contribute to AI and data science initiatives as part of its R&D organization. You will work with structured and unstructured data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in building AI-enabled software prototypes.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/AI/DS degrees with coursework in AI, ML, and software development, and have basic Python/Java/JavaScript skills. Mentorship and hands-on experience are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Coursework or academic project experience in AI, machine learning, software development, data structures, or algorithms.
• Basic programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with software development fundamentals, including debugging, testing, and version control.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support experimentation, research, and proof-of-concept work related to AI, machine learning and data science technologies.
• Assist in the design, development, testing, and support of AI and data driven software solutions.
• Participate in coding, debugging, and documenting applications and prototypes.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support use cases and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to understand business needs and translate them into technical tasks.
• Contribute to technical documentation, presentations, and knowledge sharing.
• Follow team standards for coding, testing, security, and responsible AI use.
