Job summary

Qualifications

• GS-5 requires general experience or education substituting a bachelor's degree.
• GS-7 requires specialized experience or education substituting a bachelor’s with SAA or graduate education.
• GS-9 allows higher-level experience or education, including advanced degrees.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Oversee the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determine admissibility for entry into the United States.
• Prevent illegal entry and smuggling of contraband.
