Qualifications

• GS-5 requires 3 years general experience or a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination.
• GS-7 requires 1 year specialized experience at the next lower grade or equivalent.
• GS-9 requires 1 year specialized experience at the next lower grade or higher education or combination of both.
• Citizenship, residency, age restrictions, and required formal training are specified.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Inspect individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility.
