Job summary

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring a CBPO to safeguard the nation's borders. The role advances entry control, enforcement of customs and immigration laws, and inspections of people and conveyances across U.S. ports of entry.

Qualifications

• CBP knowledge, regulations, and procedures to enforce entry/exit of persons and goods.
• Experience with inspections, investigations, and applying federal laws at points of entry.
• Ability to assess admissibility and enforce controls on imports and exports.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
• Promote lawful travel and trade while preventing smuggling and illegal activity.
