Qualifications

• Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.
• Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.

• Formal Training: Paid pre-academy orientation, 101-day CBP Field Operations Academy, and Spanish training for some locations.

• Determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
• Preventing illegal entry of individuals and contraband.
