Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of general work experience or education that demonstrates the ability to learn regulations, methods, and techniques; ability to gather information through questioning and observation.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations and inspect documents; determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and field tactics.
• Interpret tracks and evidence of illegal entry and conduct patrols of borders and coastal areas using various assets.
