Qualifications

• One year of general work experience showing ability to learn regulations and regulations through training.
• Ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• Interpreting tracks, marks, and evidence of illegal entry.
• Patrolling borders and using various assets to fulfill USBP mission.
